ORCHARD PARK PHYSICIAN PRACTICES CONTINUE TO

BUFFALO, NEW YORK – Physician practices throughout Western New York continue to join HEALTHeLINK, Western New York’s clinical information exchange, including several in Orchard Park. Western New York Eye Center and the family practices of Mark Swetz, MD and David P. Kowalski, MD are now participants in the exchange.
“With your consent, treating physicians and approved medical staff who are involved in your care will have instant access to your most current health information through HEALTHeLNK,” said Dan Porreca, HEALTHeLINK’s executive director. “This access could improve the quality of your care and save money through the elimination of duplicate testing.”
In order to provide consent, patients must sign a consent form at their treating physician’s office or download one from HEALTHeLINK’s website, www.wnyhealthelink.com. Nearly 250,000 Western New Yorkers have already given their health care providers better access to the information they need.
