BUFFALO, NEW YORK – HEALTHeLINK™, the Western New York clinical information exchange, recently unveiled a newly-redesigned website at www.wnyhealthelink.com. The site, designed by Algonquin Studios and Crowley Webb and Associates, features pages specifically targeting both physicians and the community.

“As electronic medical records and health information technology continue to be major topics of discussion in both the media and the medical community, we needed a website that was easier for Western New York physicians and consumers to navigate and find relevant information,” said Daniel E. Porreca, HEALTHeLINK™ executive director.

The site features information for healthcare consumers and physicians and includes resources for physicians who want to learn more about electronic health records programs and software as well as the value of Health Information Exchange through the HEALTHeLINK™ Learning Lab. Patients can learn about the consent process so that their health information can be shared through the clinical information exchange, including a consent form which can be printed out, signed and sent to HEALTHeLINK™.

For more information on HEALTHeLINK™ call 716-206-0993 ext. 311 or visit www.wnyhealthelink.com.
