Aug-23-2011 — Daniel Porreca, executive director of HEALTHeLINK, Western New York’s clinical information exchange, was appointed to a three-year term on the New York eHealth Collaborative (NYeC) board of directors. The Collaborative is a public-private sector partnership to build consensus on state health information technology priorities, including physician adoption of electronic health records and consumer consent policies among others.

With offices in Hamburg, Orchard Park and West Seneca, Southtowns Radiology is an independent radiology practice, offering a scope of medical imaging services from open MRI to CT scanning and other diagnostic technologies like varicose vein treatments.

Dec-06-2010 — HEALTHeLINK, the Western New York Clinical Information Exchange, has been awarded a $10 million “sole-source” grant from the New York State Department of Health to work with the Department on a statewide initiative to develop and implement a clinical data exchange related to population and public health targeting child health immunization, newborn screening, syndromic surveillance, and chronic disease with a specific focus on cancer.
